
Caleb Choe, MD
Dr. Caleb Choe is a born and raised Texan who transplanted to beautiful Southern California after getting married to his wife. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and went on to complete his pediatric residency in Houston at University of Texas Health Science Center McGovern School of Medicine/MD Anderson Children's Cancer Center. He practiced as a general pediatrician for several years before pursuing fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at Northwestern University/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He has completed two additional international fellowships at Seoul National University Hospital and Samsung Medical Center of Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine.
After completing his training in Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles where he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles/Keck School of Medicine at USC for several years. He dedicated his time to working in the pediatric dermatology clinics at AltaMed and CHLA, where he cared for a vast array of dermatologic conditions. He is also passionate about teaching the future generations of health care providers and served as a mentor/preceptor for CHLA Pediatric Residency, AltaMed Family Medicine Residency, AltaMed Nurse Practitioner Program and USC Family Medicine Residency. He now excited to join the amazing group of providers at Mission Dermatology to provide the same level of personalized and personable care to the children of Orange County.
Dr. Choe is fluent in English and Korean.
